Greetings. Michael
S. Suchorsky here.
I am the sole proprietor of Cow Wordly Cardstm,
my new greeting card company.
I am the writer, designer, photographer (and/or retoucher), illustrator
and studio artist.
Ninety five percent of my cards are of a humorous nature, many of which
are not occasion-specific, though easily adapted.
Cow Wordly Cardstm is based in the Catskill Mountains
of New York State in the USA. It is situated around one hundred and
fifty miles northwest of New York City and adjoins New York City's largest
reservoir. I look out on to the reservoir and the Catskill Park that
hugs its east side. Many of the these greeting cards have been developed
on my front porch amidst thrush song and fox prowl while the moon rises
magnificently over the mountains marching off into the east.
The models for The Portrait Series: Denizens of Delaware County,
Comments On Love & Life are my neighbors whom I photographed
in the fields as well as in the barn on a lovely 5 degree below zero
day. With each breath, the cows sent vaporous clouds tumbling through
the cool air that then floated in and out of illumination as it drifted
past the shafts of sunlight pouring through the windows in the quiet
barn. I photographed the gals from every possible position while whispering
story and song in hopes of getting them to emote. I think they are stars.
Cow Wordly Cardstm is presently offering two lines;
a Retro Series and the above mentioned
The Portrait Series: Denizens of Delaware County, Comments On
Love & Life line.
These are greeting cards to tease, cajole and celebrate. Adult humor
ranging from edgy to sweet. Some birthday greetings are offered, a get
well card, as well as the odd Halloween,
obvious Valentine and so on. Several cards are also offered as blank
note card versions.
The Retro Series greeting cards come with a choice of two completely
different versions of copy,
as do many of the greeting cards in the Cow Series.
I have set up the website so that all cards can be viewed by clicking
through either greeting card line
from beginning to end, or by finding the same cards in occasion-specific
categories
by clicking on the occasion headings.
I hope you enjoy the greeting cards. I have many more in development.
